A favorite Southwest Virginia landmark, The Farmhouse Restaurant has
served the New River Valley since 1963. The authentic farm house, originally
part of the Ridinger Estate, was built in the 1800's.
In the early 1970's, an old train caboose was added to provide a unique
dining area. During the past decade, a rustic lounge, additional dinner
seating, and a spacious 250 seat banquet facility has added to the charm
of The Farmhouse.
Today, our renovated antique white farm house offers a nostalgic setting
and a cozy atmosphere for friends and family.
The Farmhouse offers exceptional service and gracious southern hospitality
catering to individuals, couples, families, corporate executives, business
clients, neighboring college students, festive occasions, and many New
River Valley residents.
Our friendly and experienced staff take pride in making sure each and
every guest has an enjoyable fine dining experience at The Farmhouse Restaurant.
We are proud of our customer loyalty and enjoy getting to know both old
and new guests! Virginia Tech and Radford alumni return to our restaurant
years after leaving the New River Valley.
Many cherished memories-first dates, wedding engagements, anniversaries,
birthday celebrations, and other special occasions-have had their beginnings
at The Farmhouse. We look forward to sharing more special moments with

Guests can choose from private booths or open rooms comfortably decorated
with a blend of antiques and country furnishings.
